Let me tell you what I have done in last several months. I have started my covered call writing with optionsXpress since this April. I found it pretty easy to follow and the return is good, about 2 - 3%. I got 5.2% in august with the gain in stock value. Even I don't know too much about options, I only stick to writing covered calls and it makes me a reasonable profit; actually, more than reasonable.
